Helen O'Connell, who had a fairly drawn on the ~side career, will always be best remembered with regard to her squeals on "Green Eyes" and her toil with Jimmy Dorsey. She originally left her natural Toledo with Jimmy Richards' nine-fragment group, gigging and touring for a year and a moiety. O'Connell appeared on a stable radio show in St. Louis dress the ground she agreed to tour with Larry Funk's small rope (which was billed as "Band of a Thousand Melodies"). After the furniture started working in New York, she was discovered and cheerfully signed...
