Senior IT Enterprise Architect

5:04 AM

(0) Comments

Our client is a major player in Australia's Utilities sector. They have a number of office locations in NSW but their Head Office (and the location for this role) is in Sydney's CBD.

Senior IT Enterprise Architect

* Project delivery experience
* Team leadership & mentoring
* Review the architectural roadmap

To give an indication of scale, they have an extensive and complex implementation of SAP, amongst other applications. Their infrastructure environment - data/voice/messaging - is also rather extensive. They employ well over 5,000 people. The IT staffing is over 400 people.

They are currently looking to get a suitably experienced senior Enterprise Architect on board on a contract basis, who will report to the Manager, Strategy & Architecture (who in turn reports to the CIO). Down the track, this contract role may become permanent.

To be considered for this role you will need to have significant experience with large and complex IT environments and working in large organisations either in the public or private sectors. Experience in the Utilities sector would of course be a definite advantage but is not essential.

Experience with IT enterprise architecture in SAP environments is essential. Experience with interacting with IT Strategy formulation exercises is of interest. Experience with data architecture is of strong interest as well.

The role will have involvement in review of the architectural roadmap. It will have some team leadership aspects as well (more from a mentoring point of view), and some project-related ones (eg, involvement in successful project delivery), so we are looking for someone with this level of seniority. You will also have solid experience with developing rapport with key business stakeholders as well as various IT peers.

This interesting and challenging role will be let on a daily rate basis with an expected initial 6 month contract period.
To discuss this opportunity please call Euan Mackay on 0416 140 553.
